I am excited to begin my 2nd year here at Grover Hill Elementary. In my 1st year, I was welcomed with open arms and I have fell in love with our community. Students deserve a quality education in a safe environment and that is my focus. We will begin each day having a morning assembly in the gym at 8:50am.
I have a Principal’s bulletin board to highlight writing. Each month teachers will submit the best writing sample from their classroom and one sample will be chosen from each grade level to be displayed on the bulletin board just past the office.
In my second year at Grover Hill, I plan on building relationships that will support growth. I plan to continue improving student instruction, and our grounds and facilities through team based leadership.
I am starting my 28th year in education. I am originally from Greentown, Indiana and currently live across the state line in New Haven IN. I attended Ball State University and the University of West Georgia. I have taught all elementary grade levels, Title 1, been an instructional coach and assistant principal. I enjoy being at the lake, playing cards, and often golf at Pleasant Valley.
It is my belief that leadership truly revolves around one’s relationship with others. I strive to be a servant leader.
