Welcome to Wayne Trace Local School District and the home of the Raiders! Wayne Trace Local Schools offer a history of extraordinary traditions, excellent academics, outstanding extracurricular programs, and community partnerships, as we work with our district residents to fulfill our mission...which is to help all students achieve at their highest level and to graduate with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to become thinking, productive citizens in a changing global society.
Wayne Trace Local Schools serve approximately 900 students in grades K-12 and employ approximately 125 staff members who are dedicated to serving our students and community. Our mission, of Preparing the Leaders of Tomorrow, goes above and beyond the traditional school day. Our hope is to provide our students a well-rounded educational experience through academics, athletics, and programs that prepare Wayne Trace graduates to become life-long learners and productive citizens.
We are excited about some of our curriculum programs that help us achieve our mission. Notably, Wayne Trace Local Schools offers an extensive high school business curriculum, a full year robotics course, an up and coming STEAM program, a wide variety of agriculture classes, and four Advanced Placement courses (AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, AP Art History, and AP Art Studio). Also, we offer College Credit math classes and have many students taking college credit courses remotely. Wayne Trace Local Schools also provides students the opportunity to take introductory Spanish as well.
In addition to our curriculum during the school day, we offer after-school programs at the elementary and middle school. These programs offer additional educational supports, peer engagement, and enrichment opportunities.
On behalf of the Wayne Trace Board of Education, I thank you for your interest in our school district. Should you have any questions about the district, please do not hesitate to contact us for further information. Go Raiders!
